Hair Academy School of Barbering & Beauty is one of the first hair schools in Delaware. Hair Academy was founded in 1981 and is located in Pencader Plaza Newark, DE. Since 2011, new owners Ray, Jesse, and Christopher have used their skills and expertise as licensed professionals in this industry to take the school to new levels. Under new management Hair Academy has been capable of redeveloping fresh and new curriculum that allows students to constantly evolve with today’s trends, as well as becoming Nationally Accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Careers Arts & Sciences.
Through a multidisciplinary approach to education that combines technical and hands-on learning, our students consistently succeed in the real world. Since we opened our doors, we’ve helped countless individuals achieve their career and life dreams.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Hair Academy School of Barbering & Beauty is to train men and women to become barbers, cosmetologists, or professional instructors.
We put emphasis on providing a specialized service based on having knowledgeable instructors. This allows our students to experience hands-on training within the barbering, cosmetology, or instructor field. We also emphasize and instruct our students on business management skills necessary for licensure and employment.
